Annual NWA Preparedness Fair
The annual NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1101 McCollum Road in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The fair will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be open until 2:00 p.m.

The goal of the NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair is to help residents of Northwest Arkansas obtain the information they need to prepare their families, neighborhoods, and community for a variety of emergency situations.
50+ informational booths hosted by local organizations such as emergency response teams, emergency training personnel, the Red Cross, and other community service groups. The valuable information to be presented at the fair this year will include: emergency foods, personal document preservation and preparation, first aid kits, emergency shelters and evacuation routes, pet care during emergency situations, water purification, and more.

Red Cross Blood Drive
A Red Cross Blood Drive will also be held in conjunction with the event. The American Red Cross will be onsite at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1101 McCollum Drive in Bentonville to take blood donations.
